Summary of duties: The job of a sales associate is to sell merchandise to customers in a professional and ethical manner, and to function as part of a team whenever necessary. A sales associate has specific duties, most of which relate to providing top quality customer service and complete customer satisfaction. A sales associate must also meet specific sales and average transaction goals.
Applicants must possess merchandising skills, able to count currency, to take initiative in functioning independently, excel at multi-tasking, and maintain an image appropriate to that of the trends in fashion.
